Hi-five to Gratitude
Here is a 3D rendering of one of my first upcoming projects: Hi-five to Gratitude.
This will be an art installation to be installed at one of our local parks. It’s a little reminder to stop and reflect, and look inwards.
Coming from a single-parent home, barely graduating high school, dropping out of college, and spending much of my 20s struggling just to keep a roof over my head, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for where my life is at today. With a bit of courage and a lot of help from people along the way, I eventually stopped self-sabotaging and learned how to get out of my own way.
Today, I wake up every morning to my beautiful wife and our two little boys. After making breakfast and getting everyone ready for the day, I put on my slippers and walk into my home office where I get to design meaningful projects for my clients and myself. What a life! Not perfect, but who said it had to be?
There are still tough days and real challenges across every area of my life. But even in the midst of it all, I genuinely couldn’t ask for anything more. This life I’ve somehow managed to build continues to inspire me to pause, reflect, and give thanks — to the universe, and to the people who helped shape my path.
And so, this installation is dedicated to gratitude.
